C-section - Binder did you use one - which one?

Hey Ladies...

Any of you out there have a c-section and use an abdominal binder?   I am scheduled in 10 days - please no debates on c-sections - this is a hard one for me with a lot of circumstances.   My second daughter was born via c-section and I did not have a binder.   I had a lot of trouble with my incision healing correctly.    This time around - I bought http://www.amazon.com/Gabrialla-Breathable-Elastic-Abdominal-Binder/dp/B000WFUT2C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358597383&sr=8-1&keywords=binder+XXL  I cant tell if it is going to be too big.

Not pregnant - I usually am around 290 -pregnancy has me at 340 (3rd pregnancy -all I gained 50lbs with each one)  The binder I bought does  velcro  currently at 8/5 months pregnant but how tight do I need it to do its work to help hold my guts in and help me heal?  I am asking here because of the hospital - I doubt they will carry my size etc so I am trying to be prepared.

Any thoughts? Advice.

Fake Prom Outfit Ideas?

I need fashion advice, Fatshionista!

My best friend and I are (probably) going to Fake Prom (Feb 9) and I have no clue what to wear. I did not go to my HS prom and I am not really the dressy-uppy sort of person so I don’t have anything fit to wear to a party in my wardrobe.

I’m a 20-22 on top and a 22-24 on bottom. Some dresses I’m considering:

ASOS CURVE Dolly Skater Dress in Gold Brocade
Igigi Leigh Dress in Gold
Pleated Empire Waist Floral Dress
Jessica Simpson Sleeveless Metallic Dress
Kiyonna Luna Lace Dress (I like the Raspberry Wine and Twilight Grey)
Frock & Frill Pleat and Lace Dress

Here’s the thing: I’d probably wear some of these (esp the sleeveless ones) with a blazer, and all of them with tights. I’m not sure what to do about shoes - I don’t wear heels or open toes, I’m a size 11W-12W with 17” calves.

Anybody have any styling advice or alternatives? I’d also love to hear ideas for separates (pants or skirt fine) since they would probably get more wear, but I’m drawing a blank for that.*

*If I thought I would wear it again, I’d TOTALLY get this skirt.
