Advice needed - cami to wear under wrap dress

So I finally bought the Igigi cobalt blue wrap dress after wanting it for a long, long time.  The dress is a little more clingy than I'm used to, but it fits beautifully.  (The husband's comment was, "You're keeping that, right?")  I'm guessing that a half slip will help with the showing of the panty line, but I need more help with the top.  My cleavage isn't used to daylight, especially at work!  I was thinking of buying this cami from Lane Bryant.  What color would you recommend?  Black, to go with black accessories like in the picture of the wrap dress?  Thanks for the help!

ROTFLOL.

I'd get a few. I'm always wishing I have more camis for this dress. I'd say get a white and then experiment with other colors.

Good advice. I'm new to this whole dressing fabulous concept, so I need to start slow!

I would say you could do black, a white or ivory, or even a similar shade of blue.

I'm going to go against my usual automatic response of black (though that would look good as well) and suggest that you mix things up a little bit. Unexpected color in the middle of winter is a delight. So try the Celtic Green and the Posh Purple. Make it playful!

I like the idea of Posh Purple... then I saw this in a catalog over lunch...

I think ivory too, and I definitely think you should go for a cami with a little bit of lace -- like this one in oyster, or this if you can wear an XL (it's not like it has to cover more than your boobs, since it'll be under a dress), or even this. I have several lace-trimmed camis (some with sequins!) that I wear under cleavagey dresses and tops for work, and they really make an outfit look put-together without ceasing to be hot... plus you can experiment with bright colors and flashiness without going overboard.

I have that dress and wear it to all my auditions; it washes beautifully and never wrinkles. Excellent buy! :-) What about the oyster grey cami?

I'm thinking oyster grey and purple, for fun.

I agree with the lovely [info]onceupon - go with a bright color!

I'd get black, arizona sky and maybe wineberry. The lighter blue will give you a lot more accessory options and a different look to the black.

That is the exact cami I bought to wear with my chocolate wrap dress. I got the Celtic green to wear with the brown and it works very nicely.

With the cobalt? I'd do the oyster grey or posh purple.
