The above article at The Sexist blog made me snicker as it skewers People magazine's bridal-weight-loss challenge, and peoples reactions to it. . .you know the drill. . .losing weight is really about being healthy, right???

I *love* it! You look absolutely radiant. :)

I'm only 5 months along right now, and I can't imagine dealing with wedding stress on top of pregnancy hormones at 9 months! You're my hero for the week. :)

These are from our last minute (trying to time it when a surrogate brother was home from Iraq) court house wedding. My dress is custom but around a size 28, made for my 54 inch waist. My husband is between a mens 4x-5x.
And the only thing I worry about when I look at these pictures is how bad my hair was that day.

Yay! I'm especially glad when people say they LIKE the way they look -- I was "best man" for a good friend four years ago, and to this day have never seen a wedding photo b/c his (lovely and awesome) fat bride hated the pictures and how she looked (which was radient and beautiful.) sadface.

Wow I absolutely love that dress. I was sitting there thinking man where was THAT dress when I was shopping for mine. I linked it to my (likewise fat married) bff, and she said the exact same thing I was thinking hah! You look fantastic!

i'm getting married in september and i'll be a fat bride.

i'm having 2 dresses custom made (one for ceremony and one for reception) and they are going to be fashion-forward/stylish and amazing.

I'm getting married 10.15.10, so I don't have any photos of me in MY dress yet, but I have the pics from when I tried dresses on.

I'm having mine made, so won't get it until probably mid-September. It's driving me mad! But I had a blast trying on dresses back in November.
